🏆 Natixis CIB has been named “Bank Risk Manager of the year 2023” by the prestigious publisher Risk.net

This award recognizes Natixis CIB’s ability to manage the risks associated with its activities in global markets through innovative developments reflecting considerable work on improving its framework.

It also highlights the close collaboration between the two lines of defense of the Global Markets and Market Risk teams through the implementation of numerous improvements, both in terms of price modeling and new risk management measures.

End of the year conference with our Natixis CIB experts | 15 December 2022

On Thursday, December 15^th 2022, the Natixis CIB teams had the pleasure of welcoming and exchanging with around 50 customers on the theme “Economic Outlook and Product Innovations”, during a conference held in Paris at the prestigious Hôtel Le Meurice. Many thanks to all our speakers and participants for this exchange.

🏆 Natixis CIB named “Investment Bank of the Year” by Environmental Finance

Natixis CIB has been named “Investment bank of the year” at the 2022 Impact Awards organized by Environmental Finance, a major online publication reporting on sustainable investment, green finance and the people and companies active in environmental markets.  

The judges highlighted “Natixis CIB’s efforts to fully integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics” within its internal credit processes and IT systems, via the proprietary analytical tool, the Green Weighting Factor (GWF). 

They also applauded Natixis CIB’s Green and Sustainable Hub (GSH), a team of more than 30 specialists who provide multi-asset expertise in green and sustainable financing and investment solutions. 

In addition, they noted the achievements of the Impact Hypotheken Investment platform, launched alongside Dutch financial services company CMIS Group, to promote energy-efficient residential properties in the Netherlands. 

Natixis Awarded Investment Bank of the Year for Equity-linked Products at The Banker Awards 2020

Natixis was awarded Investment Bank of the Year for Equity-linked Products, at the 2020 Banker Awards.

The award was specifically granted for the ‘Development des Territoires’ product, a product that combines a social bond dedicated to local economic development within France and a climate index. All of the proceeds from the social bond will finance local small businesses in economically and socially disadvantaged areas of metropolitan France, particularly those hit hard by the Covid-19 crisis, which is apt considering the product takes its name from the aim of reducing territorial inequalities. The climate index —  Euronext Climate Objective Euro Decrement 5% — a strong performer among ESG indices, is focused on companies that address climate issues via their products and services or by reducing their carbon footprints. 

The product is offered in partnership with insurer Groupama, with Natixis acting as issuer and the structured notes distributed by Groupama via Groupe Gan Vie life insurance policies.

The digital advertising industry has had a tremendous decade of growth. In line with the rise of e-commerce, an entire ecosystem of dedicated ad-tech companies has been created, challenging the role of traditional media agencies, and redefining the balance of power within the sector. Facebook and Google now enjoy a clear duopoly and attract a very large part of the global ad-spend, thanks to their hundreds of millions of identified users, and their extensive use of artificial intelligence and big data analytics. However, the party could slowly be coming to an end in 2020.

FTSE 150 Index Seminar at the London Stock Exchange

To commemorate the launch of the FTSE 150 Index two years ago, Natixis hosted a presentation at the London Stock Exchange on the 22nd of May. The event was in conjunction with our partner and index sponsor, FTSE Russell.
